Our patient presented to the office with extensive decay in two back teeth. These teeth could not be restored. He was also missing another tooth in the middle of the decayed teeth. This situation would leave our patient unable to chew on the right side of the mouth.
This gentleman knew that his enjoyment of food was important, and he was unwilling to compromise. Dr Leonardi recommended that the best solution was to remove the two teeth and have two dental implants to house an Implant-Supported Bridge. This would address the two teeth that would be removed and the tooth in the middle that had been missing for several years. The result would create a long-term functional and esthetic solution. Treatment was coordinated with our Oral Surgeon and Dr Leonardi. Our patient was pleased with the positive outcome. All progressed nicely, and now our patient comes to see us with his big smile reporting that the implant bridge feels just like his natural teeth.
